Redeem Eden (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website redeemeden.com and related booking services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We take confidentiality seriously — especially around pastoral and coaching conversations.

Information We Collect

  • Account & booking information: name, email address, phone number (if provided), timezone, and session details you submit when booking or creating an account.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Intake / session materials: information you voluntarily submit through intake forms or related workflows so we can prepare for your session.
  • Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and site reliability.
  • Google Calendar data (admin connection only): if a ministry administrator connects Google Calendar through our admin integrations, we access calendar availability and create or update calendar events for booked sessions. We do not use Google Calendar to access unrelated personal content beyond what is needed for scheduling.

How We Use Information

  • Schedule, confirm, remind, and support sessions
  • Process payments and send receipts
  • Prevent double-booking by checking calendar busy times
  • Create Zoom meetings and calendar events for confirmed bookings
  • Communicate about your booking, account, or support requests
  • Improve site reliability and protect against abuse

Google Calendar / Google User Data

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We use Google Calendar access only to read busy/availability information and to create, update, or remove calendar events related to Redeem Eden bookings.
  • We do not sell Google user data.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising.
  • We do not share Google user data with third parties except as needed to operate the scheduling features you enable (for example, storing event IDs in our database) or when required by law.
  • Administrators can disconnect Google at any time in Admin → Integrations. Disconnecting stops new calendar sync; previously created booking records in our system remain unless separately deleted.

Sharing of Information

We share information only as needed to operate the service:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Zoom — video meeting links for sessions
  • Google Calendar — scheduling sync when connected by an administrator
  • Email / messaging providers — transactional messages such as confirmations and reminders
  • Service providers who help us host or maintain the website, under confidentiality obligations
  • When required by law or to protect the safety of our users or others

We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention

We retain booking and account records as long as needed to provide the service, maintain session history, meet legal/accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us (subject to records we must keep for legal or operational reasons).

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls for admin tools, and encrypted storage of sensitive integration tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your Choices

  • Update or correct account information through your portal when available
  • Request access to or deletion of personal data by contacting us
  • Administrators may disconnect Google Calendar at any time

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
